York Mind is a successful mental health charity providing a wide range of services to help support people’s mental health recovery and wellbeing including counselling, an activities programme, training, services for young people and advocacy.

We are seeking to recruit for the role of Trust and Corporate Fundraising Officer to join our team. The successful applicant will be a positive, results driven person who is proactive in chasing external funding, with experience and a proven track record in successful fundraising.

Action Towards Inclusion Project Lead

37.5 hours per week.  Fixed term until 31st December 2019 (possibility for extension subject to funding)

£24,500 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a  project that will offer intensive, tailored support to individuals who are the furthest away from accessing opportunities in learning, volunteering or paid employment.

The post holder will be responsible for initial assessments, 1-2-1 and group support and coordinating specialist interventions from both York Mind and other organisations also working on this project.

The project, known as Action Towards Inclusion is jointly funded by European Social Fund (ESF) and the Big Lottery and is managed by Your Consortium.

The successful applicant will have significant experience of working directly with service users who have a complexity of issues. The applicant will also have the ability and skills to manage and coordinate the wider project, including all monitoring, evaluation and administration and work with other partners
