Our Speakers
Dr Lisa Kim (Senior Lecturer in Psychology in Education) University of York. I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Psychology in Education in the Department of Education at the University of York, UK. I am also a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) in the UK and the Director of the Health, Effectiveness, And Retention of Teachers (HEART) Research Group. My research interests lie in understanding what makes a great teacher and how to support teachers' effectiveness and wellbeing. My aim is to contribute to improving teacher retention rates and increasing the social status of the teaching profession. |

Dr Sarah Crellin (Postdoctoral Research Associate) University of York. My recent research experience has focused on the occupational wellbeing and training needs in schools (leaders, teachers and teaching assistants), the potential solutions to challenges faced by small schools in the UK and identifying best practices of small school clusters and federations in England |
