The Conqueror Challenges in aid of York Mind

Conquer your fitness goals with every mile, whilst fundraising for York Mind!

We're excited to offer a new and unique fundraising opportunity through The Conqueror Challenges! Discover a variety of virtual active challenges to give you some motivation to reach your fitness goals, whilst fundraising for York Mind.

You're free to walk, run, cycle or complete any distance based activities to complete your challenge. Choose your start date and the deadline, ranging from one week to 18 months and take everything at your pace.

Walk the length of Hadrian's Wall over 1 month
Run the Marathon to Athens over 1 week
Swim the English Channel over 2 weeks
Any other challenge!

The Lord of the Rings Virtual Challenges

For something completely different, take part in one of The Conqueror's Lord of the Rings Challenge! Travel from The Shire all the way to Mordor (660mi) over the course of 5 challenges. Complete on your own, or as part of a relay with a group of friends (or Fellowship, if you prefer...)

Mines of Moria - 40mi
The Eye of Sauron - 95mi
Mordor - 282mi

Once you sign up, you'll receive a Fundraising Pack from York Mind, to support you in reaching and exceeding your fundraising targets. After that, you'll get access to The Conqueror's app to track your progress, unlocking bespoke postcards and stories as you make your way through your challenge. On completion, you'll receive an intricate medal from The Conqueror Challenges to celebrate your achievement.

1What are my fundraising options?

You have two fundraising options, based on what you think is most achievable for you:

Charity place - £150 minimum fundraising target.
Self funded - £40 paid up front to cover The Conqueror Challenge's costs, £110 minimum fundraising target.

2Which challenges can I take part in?

We've recommended a few options in our form, but please feel free to browse through The Conqueror Challenge's website and pick a challenge that best suits your goals and interests. The sign up form gives you space to specify which challenge you'd like to take part in, and the time frame in which you'd like to complete it.
