An exciting opportunity has come up within our Fundraising Team. The team contributes to the income required to enable York Mind to continue to provide services for local people who are experiencing mental ill health.  Our ongoing strategy is to create and sustain positive relationships with funders and fundraisers in the community and to develop and increase the variety of income streams available to York Mind.

Working alongside our Fundraising Manager, the Community Fundraiser will deliver a portfolio of events including Challenge Events, Third Party Events and awareness raising activities. 

We are looking for someone with recent, relevant experience in a similar role, with an awareness of fundraising principles, methods and procedures. In addition, the Community Fundraiser will have experience of recruiting and managing event volunteers and fundraising groups. 

This post will include some evening and weekend work. As the role will involve some travel within York, a current driving licence and access to a vehicle would be desirable.
