Autism awareness

Autism is a lifelong condition which affects approximately around 1 in 100 people in the UK. Autism has many signs and symptoms but generally it affects how someone communicates, understands the world around them, relates to others and can also be characterised by repetitive patterns of thought and behaviour.

What will you Learn?

  • Understand more about Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Learn how to identify the signs of autism
  • Learn practical interventions which can help support an autistic person either in the workplace, home or in an educational setting.

The course is delivered in an interactive and engaging way including exercises, video, group discussion. It can also be tailored to meet your specific context and environment.
