At York Mind, our facilitated peer support groups bring together people who experience mental health needs, with others who have similar issues and diagnoses. There is the opportunity for you to to discuss these issues, but more importantly there is a focus on ways of coping that may support your recovery. We offer three mental health peer support groups per week.
We also offer a group specifically targeted at carers, providing a supportive place for carers to share experiences.
