Volunteer Group Assistant for Young People's 13-16 Peer Support Group

We are looking for a peer support assistant for our 13-16 year old peer support group at York Mind. This group is an opportunity for young people struggling with their mental health to join a social and supportive group, where they can discuss their experiences while working towards strategies to enable positive wellbeing. 

The group assistant’s role will be to support the young people in expressing their emotions and feeling comfortable within the space. 

We are especially interested in applications from males for this volunteering position, though people of any gender may apply.
