York Mind Accumulator Challenge 2024

ACCUMULATOR (Facebook Cover)

Applications now open!

September 2024 will see York Mind launch the first ever ‘York Mind Accumulator Challenge’ where teams will compete across 30 days to grow £30 into as much money as possible in aid of York Mind.

York Mind will supply each team with £30 initial funding. Teams will then have free reign aim to grow their £30 into as much as possible. In the run up to and throughout the month teams will be supported by the York Mind fundraising team to help make your challenge a success.  Funds can be raised through any method but must be legal, safe and ethical. Here are a few ideas! Please see our ethical fundraising policy or contact to find out more.

Who can take part?

The Accumulator Challenge is a team event, and as the aim is to raise as much money as possible we would recommend your team is made up of at least 5 people.

The challenge is open to both corporate and community teams. Whether you're a business, school, university society or anything in between, applications are open to you.

Why take part?

Getting involved with the Accumulator Challenge is a fantastic way to engage your staff and have some fun at work this summer. We will be there to support you along the way and help you with your fundraising ideas. However you decide to complete the challenge, this is a great way to support the local community, generate positive PR for your organisation and provide your team with the opportunity to network, work as a team and boost morale among staff!

At the end of the challenge we will crown winners in the following categories:

  • Most Funds Raised (Corporate Teams)
  • Most Funds Raised (Community Teams)
  • Most creative fundraising idea

Sign up below!

Or, if you have any questions contact (corporate teams) or (community teams)

1Do we have to raise a minimum amount as part of the Accumulator Challenge?

By signing up to the challenge, you agree to donate a minimum of £30 to York Mind. This is equivalent to the funding you are given at the start of the challenge.

2When will we receive our £30?

As part of the registration process we ask for your bank details and we will ensure the £30 is in your bank account for 1 September 2024.

3How can we collect funds raised?

You can collect funds however you like, many people like to donate via JustGiving, or alternatively you can collect cash. You can combine both methods for your fundraising.

4How can we raise money?

You can raise money anyway you like, as long as it is safe, legal and ethical. Please look at our ethical fundraising policy for more information.

Please see our Fundraising Ideas Guide for fundraising inspiration!
