The Yorkshire Marathon

The Yorkshire Marathon starts at the University of York and then heads into the city centre. Once out of the city centre, the route will take you into the countryside, before finishing where it started. You'll get a great view of the city, as well as all the people cheering you along the sideline. Taking part in the event is a great experience, getting you involved with the challenge, a great community of people, and raising money for York Mind.

1So what's the difference between a charity place and an own place?

York Mind currently offer a limited number of charity spaces to participate in the York 10k. As part of your charity place, we ask that you work to achieve a fundraising target of £250. If you would like to enquire about signing up for a space, please get in touch via fundraising@yorkmind.org.uk

If you have purchased a space in the 10k directly through Run for All, you can still use your space to raise money for us, but you will not be given a fundraising target.

2How much do I need to raise?

In order to cover various costs associated with the event, we set a minimum fundraising target of £250. This must be raised by 14/10/2024. But don't worry, our team are here from the moment you sign up to the very end to ensure that you can meet and exceed this target!

3Can I volunteer at the event?

4I signed up, but I haven't heard anything back from you!
