1How to enter
There's two ways to enter the Great North Run for York Mind:
York Mind - Guaranteed Charity entries
If you think you can raise £300 or more in sponsorship for York Mind, we can allocate you a Charity Token which guarantees you entry into the race. Simply request a Charity Token using the Sign Up Now below, and we'll send you everything you need to join our team.
Got your own place / don't want a sponsorship target?
You can still join #TeamYorkMind if you've secured your own place in the run.
Once you've got your own place confirmed in the ballot, simply contact us using the Sign Up Now form below and we'll make sure you receive everything you need to join our team.
2How much do I have to raise?
York Mind Guaranteed Charity Entry runners
£300 minimum sponsorship for York Mind per runner.
50% of your sponsorship target is due 1 month before the event. 100% of your sponsorship target must be paid no later than 4 weeks after the event.
Own place runners
No sponsorship target - just as much as you can!
3How much does it cost?
York Mind Guaranteed Charity Entry runners
£45.00 donation per place (£300 minimum sponsorship target)
Own place runners
General entry (with no discounts) is £55.00 plus a £2.00 processing fee
4What happens if I need to withdraw my entry?
York Mind Guaranteed Charity Entry runners
If you withdraw your entry before 15th June 2021, we will be able to reallocate your place to another runner.
If you withdraw your entry after 15th June 2021, we will be unable to reallocate your place to another runner and you will be required to raise sponsorship or make a donation of at least 50% of your fundraising target, to be received by York Mind no later than 4 weeks after the event date.
